Crypto Entrepreneur Sina Estavi made headlines in March 2021 when she paid $ 2.9 million for NFT from Twitter boss Jack Dorsey’s tweet first. But his efforts to resell it had ran aground, with a main offer of only $ 6,800 on Thursday. The initial purchase at the time between the most expensive sales of non-fungible tokens, or NFT, and came in the midst of many interest in Crypto niche assets which have since produced billions of dollars in sales.

Esavi postponed tweets for resale in the popular NFT Marketplace Opensea last week, initially requested $ 48 million. The price label was removed after the offer in the first week was on hundreds of dollars low. On Thursday, the highest bid is 2.2 of the Cryptocurrency ether – equivalent to around $ 6,800.

“My offer to sell is high and not everyone can buy it,” Esavi, who was recently released from prison in Iran, told Reuters through Twitter’s direct message, added that he was no longer sure if he would sell NFT.

“VICTIM OF CRYPTO”

Esavi, who lives in Malaysia, said he had been arrested, then during the trip to Iran and held in isolation cells until he was released in February. Iranian media reported in May 2021 that he was accused of “disrupting the country’s economic system”.

Esavi said he had been arrested for the growth of his Crypto exchange, bridging Oracle, and described himself as a “victim of Crypto”.

Reuters cannot verify this detail independently. “I need support from the Cryptocurrency community,” said Esavi told Reuters. While announcing NFT sales in tweets on April 6, he promised to provide 50% of the results – which he said at least $ 25 million – for charity. He said the rest will go to support the Oracle bridge.
