Meta Planning AR Glasses For 2024: Could This Be Zuckerberg's 'iPhone Moment'?

 Meta is preparing to launch AR (Augment Reality) smart glasses two years from now on, and have an ambitious plan for metavers hardware for the next decade. According to the report from the threshold, the company is currently working on the high-end AR glasses project with a Nazare code which is expected to be ready in 2024. The company also has the successor to the Roadmap planned for 2026, and the third generation of models scheduled to make debut in 2028. AR glasses do not need a partner with a smartphone, and will only need a telephone shaped device that will communicate wirelessly with the device that can be used. With AR glasses, Mark Zuckerberg’s head is said to be pursuing the moment of your own iPhone.

Ambitious, expensive, and futuristic

It is possible that Facebook will try to set aside profits to increase adoption and get an initial competitive advantage. The company currently hopes to only sell a few thousand units from her first generation AR glasses, but the target is to move millions of them at the end of the decade. The low-end model called the hypernova project is also in a pipe with a 2024 release target.
